CONTEXT: Zero Point is a transitory funded cultural project based in Berlin, Germany. Their mission is to promote new formats of exchange by creating passages of presence and space between artists of different practices, to engage together in collaborative performances, workshops and presentations.

I was contracted for the first year of the project to design their communication and archival of events, in collaboration with the Berlin team, as I worked remotely from the UK I would receive loose direction & content from the artists performing and documentation from the events, and would curate, appropriate or redevelop it into marketing content for the organisation within devised brand aesthetics. Final content and copy would go through a panel of directors before being scheduled within Business Suite.

Zero Point Berlin hosted over 25 different events throughout the year with hundreds of people from across the globe and spectrum of practice attending the sessions and spaces. The content for invitations was informative whilst the documentation was engaging. The visual design of block text content for invitations was informative , whilst the typographic corners over engaging documentation became a consistent trademark of Zero Point.
(02) PRINT
For its final show Trajectories for a Landscape, Zero Point hosted a 3 night event at Hau, Berlin, that explored the meaning, flow and feeling of shared experience and coexistence. Outside of the digital marketing content I designed A3 printed handouts for the event itself, upon which information regarding the times, titles and credits of each piece / performance could be read, inviting the attendant to fold out and rotate the handout as they explored the varying spaces.
